Elizabeth Claire Ellie Kemper (born May 2, 1980) is an American actor, comedian and author. Her stage name is Erin Hannon from the NBC show The Office and Kimmy Schmidt from the NBC comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The supporting roles she has played are Bridesmaids, 21 Jump Street and Bridesmaids. Ellie Kemper was an American actress, best known for her comedic characters in The Office, a television comedy program. Her most recent appearance as the female lead in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on the American television series that made her famous and admired. Kemper's career began in films, after she made several guest appearances. Her debut film was the comedy of a mystery team in 2009. The Office gave her the first major television role. She played a charming, bizarre receptionist in a support role, which gained her lots of attention. She continued to work with the show until its conclusion in 2013.
