Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) is an American actress. in the television and film business, she is famous for her numerous nominations and awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and was raised by her aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett moved with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother, who was separated from their dad. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still at high school and decided that acting is what she was looking to pursue. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, another actress from Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
